Pancreatic Cancer UK – Research Strategy

At the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017, I worked with Pancreatic Cancer UK to develop a public-facing document for their new research strategy.

The document represents the ambition and plans for research funding for the organisation in distinct parts, with case studies used to showcase the organisation’s effectiveness in these areas.

My role was to take the research strategy that was written for researchers and official audiences, and translate and transform it into a document that communicated the expertise, hope and ambition of the research strategy for their wider audiences and supporters. This included selecting and conducting case study interviews and editing these, developing key messages for the communication of the strategy, and working with other internal teams within the organisation to co-ordinate the launch of the strategy.
